Writing case notes that age well

Case notes in Blumi are searchable, shareable and (potentially) subpoenable. Treat them with care.

Do

• Date and time every note (Blumi does this automatically).
• Stick to observable facts and verbatim quotes.
• Separate observation from interpretation: use the Reflection field for opinions and hypotheses.

Don't

• Don't editorialise in the observation section.
• Don't share another participant's information by name.
• Don't paste private medical detail unless it's clinically necessary and consented.

Tag teammates with @name when a note needs eyes — they'll see it in their inbox.
